SHENZHEN, China, Mar. 31, 2020 -- Hundreds of EDAN’s modular patient monitors, the elite V Series, were dispatched to the worst-affected Lombardy region in Italy and are expected to be installed in the following days. To salvage people’s lives there and provide more intensive-care beds for coronavirus patients in need, a 500-bed makeshift hospital will be set up at Milan’s expo center, similar to the one that China created in the hard-hit Wuhan area.

The first patch of EDAN’s monitors has arrived at the venue, and more to expect within the week.
